My name is Yana and I am the owner of this blog. I launched it in March of 2019, to share my passion for my favorite form of art – home cooking. As a homemaker, cooking for my husband and me is something I do regularly, and I love it.
As the name and logo suggest, I am a first-generation Russian immigrant. I have lived on the East Coast since 2011, and it is now my home. In February of 2020, I was finally sworn in as a United States Citizen! It has been a long journey, but I am thankful for my very own American Dream.
My husband has been and is an inspiration for my culinary journey. We share a love for food, good coffee, travel, quiet nights-in, and long walks around our neighborhood. We are also happy owners of a furry angel Booshi who was once a stray kitten.
